Today we bring you the analysis of the Siux Electra ST3 by Franco Stupaczuk, one of the most anticipated Padel of 2024 and surely a great option for many mid-high level players looking to take advantage of its versatility.
Power
This year, the ST3 adds a bit more power compared to last year's model. Although still aimed at players seeking more control and not the most offensive from the Siux brand, it packs quite a punch. Smashes are very comfortable with this padel racket, although obviously it lacks something compared to harder padel rackets.
Ball Output
This new model of the Siux Electra is slightly harder than last year's ST2, so the ball output is slightly lower compared to the ST2. However, we really liked this change as it doesn't penalize as much in some moments of the game where having a higher ball output reduces control.
Control
With greater hardness compared to the ST2, control has improved significantly, especially with high-speed shots where the ball doesn't bounce as much, maintaining control.
For offensive shots, it is very comfortable, although it's obvious that it loses something compared to paddles with more power.
Weight of the Siux Electra ST3
Straight from the factory, it weighs between 360-375 grams, including a hexacore grip from the Siux brand.
Balance
With a hybrid shape, we would classify the balance as medium, far from padel rackets with very high balance that tilt a lot and are more difficult to handle.
Surface
It has a fairly pronounced sandy roughness. The sensation compared to last year's model is that the roughness seems more defined, but it should be very similar.
String
They have finally changed the type of string, and this year it comes with a padel bracelet, although it is not interchangeable, one of the big differences from the Siux Electra ST2, which had the traditional string.
Price
The starting price of Franco Stupaczuk's new paddle for 2024 is €295.
